We have been operating in Switzerland since 2001 and have approximately 1300 employees working in Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Healthcare where our mission is to improve the quality of life by enabling people to do more, feel better and live longer.
The headquarters of our Pharmaceuticals division are located in our Münchenbuchsee branch (Canton Berne). Our Pharmaceuticals business has a broad portfolio of prescription medicinal products for the treatment of acute and chronic diseases, for the treatment of respiratory diseases, and for the fields of oncology, immunology, and HIV-AIDS, as well as being one of the largest providers of vaccines to the Swiss population.
Employees in our subsidiary in Zug (Canton Zug) work in various global positions within GSK in the therapeutic area of oncology.
The Consumer Healthcare division is located in Rotkreuz (Canton Zug). Consumer Healthcare products are market leaders in the fields of pain relief, respiratory medicine and oral health.
Our manufacturing site in Nyon (Canton Vaud) supplies our global customers with liquid (e.g. nasal spray) and semi-solid (e.g. gels) Consumer Healthcare products.

The GSK Consumer Healthcare campus in Nyon is unique in that it brings together all the steps in the process for the life of a product, from its design to its marketing, through to its manufacture and distribution.
1,200 people of more than 55 different nationalities work on the campus. We are proud to manufacture liquid and semi-solid products such as Voltaren and Otrivin. Each year, between 250 and 300 million units are produced and then shipped to five continents and more than 80 markets around the world.

Patients
If you experience an adverse drug reaction after taking one of our medicinal products, you can report this to your attending doctor or to Swissmedic, the Swiss authority responsible for the authorisation and supervision of therapeutic products.
Healthcare professionals
If doctors observe an adverse drug reaction in their patients after taking one of our medicinal products, they can report this to Swissmedic.
Doctors can also inform us directly on pv.swiss@gsk.com. We will pass on your notification immediately and in accordance with legal requirements.
