R&D locations
GSK has a global research and development network advancing specialty medicines and vaccines.
GSK’s research and development of specialty medicines and vaccines is led by three R&D hubs in the UK, US and Belgium. These hubs anchor an R&D network spanning Europe, North America and Asia.
Across our R&D network, we’re working to deliver differentiated medicines and vaccines in four core therapeutic areas where we have the strongest expertise, and where significant patient need remains: respiratory, immunology and inflammation; oncology; HIV; and infectious diseases.
Our R&D approach combines our scientific focus on the immune system with the use of advanced technologies, enhanced by strategic partnerships with leading academic institutions and pioneering companies.
This approach is reflected in how we work across our R&D network, bringing together people, data and insights. Our researchers, clinicians, data and AI specialists, engineers and development experts work in multidisciplinary teams, and with our academic, healthcare, and industry partners. Together, they can focus on R&D programmes with the potential for greatest impact – and deliver better medicines and vaccines to patients, faster.
