There are a few stages to our application process. We know how important feedback is, so after your initial application, whether you make it through the following stages or not, in most markets, we will provide feedback to help you maximise your strengths for the future.

Where possible, our selection process will happen virtually, and include a video or telephone interview. Our recruitment team will work directly with you to support you through the process. Before clicking the apply button, read our virtual interviewing guide (PDF - 134kb) to help you prepare.

Our application form does not take long to complete. We will ask you to add details about your studies and confirm your eligibility to work in the market where your chosen programme is based. You will have the opportunity to upload your CV.

Be accurate

Make sure you meet the criteria for your chosen programme. If the basic role qualifications are not met, you may receive an automatic response declining your application.

In most markets, we’ll invite you to complete our ‘World of GSK’ online assessment. This will help us determine your strengths and suitability for one of our Early Talent programmes. It will also give you an insight into what we do and how we work.

During the online assessment you will watch videos featuring some of our colleagues who will tell you about what they do at GSK. Scenarios will then be set and we will ask you how you would manage the situation.

After you complete the ‘World of GSK’ assessment, we will let you know if you have made it to the next stage. In most markets, once you have concluded the online assessment, you will get personalised feedback to help you develop your strengths further.

Don’t worry, you do not need to have any prior knowledge of GSK, or the healthcare sector to succeed at any stage of the application.

Be timely

You will receive an email inviting you to complete the assessment after submitting your application. However, remember you only have seven days to complete it. Do not leave it too late. The assessment is not timed, so we recommend that you do take your time as you progress through it.

Be prepared

Have a pen, paper, and calculator to hand. You may want to take notes, and for some questions you might need to interpret numerical data and complete calculations.

Check your internet

Make sure your internet connection is reliable before starting the assessment.

Take care

Read the instructions carefully and complete the assessment in a quiet room with no distractions. We suggest you do so at the time of day you feel most energised.

Get help

Feel free to contact us if you experience any technical issues while completing the assessment. If you require any reasonable adjustments due to a disability, please also get in touch.

Make it through to the next stage and we will see how you might perform in your chosen programme. This is also your chance to get a feel for what it might be like to work with us.

You will be presented with a scenario with some key business facts and asked to respond through video, writing and multiple choice. We will also ask you more about why you want to work here and, if you have applied for a technical role, there will be some technical questions.

Whether you make it through to the next round or not, in some markets we will give you feedback to help you maximise your strengths in future.

Be thoughtful

Consider why you want to work for us on the programme you have chosen and share your reasons honestly.
