Brian McNamara has been CEO of GSK’s Consumer Healthcare division since 2016. He is also CEO Designate and will be a Board member of the new, listed Consumer Healthcare company which will result from the proposed demerger of Consumer Healthcare from GSK in 2022.
Under Brian’s leadership, Consumer Healthcare has a single-minded focus on delivering better everyday health with humanity.
Prior to joining GSK in 2015, Brian spent over a decade at Novartis, where he was most recently head of the Over the Counter (OTC) division. He began his career at P&G, where over a 16-year tenure, he gained extensive experience in product supply, brand marketing, and customer leadership.
Brian is a Board member of the Consumer Goods Forum (CGF). He has previously served as a Board Member and Chairman of the Global Self Care Federation (GSCF) and was an active member of the Board of Trustees for Treloar’s – a trust providing support and independence education for young people with physical disabilities.
