Our business is focused around five global categories:

  • Oral Health

Sensitivity and acid erosion, denture care, gum health, dry mouth and family oral healthcare.

  • Pain Management

Topical pain management, systemic pain management, head pain management.

  • Respiratory

Cold and flu treatments, smokers’ health, allergy treatments.

  • Nutrition & Gastrointestinal Health

Family nutrition, adult specialist nutrition, vitamins, minerals & supplements, gastrointestinal health.

  • Skin Health

Cold sores, dry skin, topical antibacterials, topical antifungals, skin irritation.

As a company with a pharmaceutical heritage, science is fundamental to our business and scientific innovations sourced through external partnerships are a vital contributor to our success. Each of our categories is supported by a dedicated Open Innovation Team.

Our areas of interest

We are interested in external opportunities which will help us deliver new products in the categories in which we operate which are valued by consumers and backed by scientific innovation.

We are also interested in acquiring local or regional Consumer Healthcare businesses which may provide GSK with additional scale in certain markets; in particular USA, Brazil, Japan and China.

We are keen to explore potential collaboration opportunities - on a flexible and creative basis - and reach agreements that make sense for both sides including:

  • acquisition of brands or companies
  • in-licensing of technology or finished products
  • any other types of collaborations that will enable further growth

How we evaluate partnering opportunities

We will review all opportunities against our strategic areas of interest and communicate, openly and promptly, our level of interest to you as a prospective collaborator and/or alliance partner. Aside from commercial factors, we will only market or consider a product for launch if it has a strong scientific foundation.
